Geva Pink and Navy Blue come together in this Pure Silk, Pure Zari Korvai Kanjivaram.
The Geva Pink body is scattered with ornamental Kamalam buttas, woven in different zari tones of blue, copper, silver and bronze — each catching the light differently and adding richness to the weave.
The Navy Blue korvai border is beautifully detailed with traditional elements — Bagudi, Araimadam, Kodi Kamalam and Kamalam Manga. Running above the border is a striking maroon Astri design, an unusual detail that gives the saree a completely different character.
The pallu has a wonderful vintage quality to it. Traditional elements from the border continue into the pallu, with bands of star buttas on either side and a beautiful Manga design at the centre.
The saree comes with a matching Navy Blue blouse.
