This is a pure silk, pure zari semi-contrast Kanchivaram with a beautiful long border.
The border has mustard on the top, black through the body, and a rich arakku shade at the bottom. The long borders are beautifully woven in zari with traditional chakram and diamond motifs, while the body features yali motifs in the pattu pet.
The pallu is equally rich, with beautifully woven mayil bands, Gandabherunda motifs in the centre, and intricate zari lines running through it.
It’s such a beautifully woven saree, rich in heritage and traditional detailing. The blouse comes in the same arakku shade as the bottom of the saree.
